How do I get the trial version?

You just open up your LabImage account on our website. The process is quite simple and free. After log in you just go to the download section and click the download button. The download starts within seconds. It will just take you minutes and you are done. Not quite sure if your e-mail is correct? Just go to My LabImage and check your e-mail.

How often does LabImage offer updates?

We are working on the continuous improvement of LabImage. As soon as we find errors we will fix it to offer you the best software. Updates are used to offer new features as well. So check for updates every month. Or you just activate the LabImage update check. This feature will do the work for you. If there are any new updates available we keep you up to date.

How do I start the network server?

This might need some support from your administrator. You will need to install the software Codemeter first. This is part of the regular install process. If you wish to install the network server on a different server please run the codemeter installation there. The install files are on the CD or will be sent on request. After installation you will find the codemeter control center icon in the status bar.
1. Double click that icon
2. A window appears having a button down right called Webadmin - click that button
3. Your Internet browser shows up - refer to the settings - activate the Option -Start as Server-
4. Restart the codemeter service

Start LabImage on the client computer. Make sure that there is an IP based connection to the server. If you do not receive a license, refer to the local codemeter controll center and add the server IP to Settings - Server List.

How do I update my license to a higher or network version?

You can update at any time from a stand-alone to network license or higher version. We charge the price difference only. This offer is valid for one year and begins when you received your license.

How do I activate my own images for testing?

An error message pops up if I try to load my images into the trial version of LabImage 1D. How can I test the software with my own images?
The LabImage 1D trial version is not limited in time or functionality, but it only allows using the Kapelan sample images. You can send your image you want to work with to support@labimage.com or use our upload service. We will unlock the image, and send it back to you.
