Colony Counting

With its excellent usability concept and state-of-the-art algorithms, LabImage CC automatically analyses colony plates in microbiological laboratories. The application will identify individual areas of dark and light according to automatic or user-set thresholds and it will deliver the results within just seconds. Using predefined sets of parameters, researchers can analyze spiral, pour and spread plates. LabImage CC provides automated spot detection with highly adjustable imaging algorithms and four adjustable image filters as well as automated and manual colony splitting. The LabImage platform can also be used to create new modules, e.g. for an analysis of multi-colour colony objects according to size and colour.
